We built Streamline in 2015 using L& D Eco Building Ltd. Our intention was to build a non-conventional house, heated using a Water to Water Geothermal Heat Pump, having a high level of insulation, though the use of Insulating Concrete Formwork (ICF). The structure itself was complex further complicated by the inclusion of two concrete balconies, whose construction could not result in a thermal loss.
We engaged L& D Eco Building Ltd as a result of their having worked on my son’s house and the recommendation of our architect. From the initial setting out to completion we found them highly professional and reliable. As with many builds, changes were requested during construction, these were accommodated in a most cost-effective manner. Throughout the build L& D Eco closely supervised the sub-contractors ensuring the works were completed to the highest standard. Down to the completion of the final finishes the company showed great attention to detail. As a result not only do we now have an award-winning house but a home we truly love.
